2023 MRCA McCawley Award Honors Greg Bloom of Beacon Building Products

Omaha, NE - October 19, 2023 - The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) proudly presented the prestigious 2023 MRCA McCawley Award to Mr. Greg Bloom, Vice President of National and Strategic Accounts at Beacon Building Products. The award was presented by Mark Langer, Langer Roofing & Sheet Metal and 2022 McCawley award winner, during the membership meeting, held in conjunction with the MRCA annual conference and Expo. This award recognizes Bloom's lifelong dedication and remarkable contributions to the roofing industry.

Greg expressed his gratitude and commitment to the roofing industry: "I am deeply honored to have received the McCawley award and humbled to be given recognition that has gone to so many icons in our industry, and namely the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association. I promise to continue serving the MRCA with the same passion and enthusiasm that I've had since we first started the Associate Advisory Board OVER 10 years ago. I want to thank every member of the MRCA and especially Mark Langer, the executive board, and all board members for this honor, and the privilege to serve."

The James Q. McCawley Award, the highest honor that MRCA bestows, is presented annually to an exceptional individual in recognition of their outstanding service to the roofing industry. Established in 1969, this award pays homage to James Q. McCawley, a devoted figure who tirelessly worked for the betterment of the roofing profession in countless ways. The MRCA established the award in appreciation of his lifelong commitment to the industry.

Notably, the 2023 MRCA McCawley Award marks only the 55th time this prestigious accolade has been bestowed in the history of the MRCA, making recognition of Greg Bloom's extraordinary contributions to the roofing industry.
